Yay! Feast Week! The time when we all get together and are allowed and encouraged to spend free time with each other (even though we knew that already)!

Time to really dig down deep and get to know the newbies, find out what makes them tick, and just hang out and have some fun. First on tap: Truth or Truth! The real focal point of the week. We get to know them, they get to know us, it's a grand old time. We are holding it at Sandy's new (but unknown to the campus) apartment, should be a hell-uv-a good time. Good thing that tomorrow is Advisement Day (and I still have to be up to work at 9:00 and then advised at 10:00 in the morning, ew.)! Still have a shite load of homework to do, but it all gets done somehow...

BiG Weekend )

So anyhoot. Feast Week! Yay! I'm excited (which helps by forgetting the massive amounts of homework I am procrastinating right now whilst at work. Man, I wish I had a computer.)!

I heart BiG and Sharkbait.
I heart EC Uglies, alums, actives and newbies.

Kisses.

P.S. There are signs in the Campus Center that read "I Agree With Richard" -- what the hell does that mean?

Congratulations! You're 116 proof, with specific scores in beer (60) , wine (150), and liquor (52).
Screw all that namby-pamby chick stuff, you're going straight for the bottle and a shot glass! It'll take more than a few shots of Wild Turkey or 99 Bananas before you start seeing pink elephants. You know how to handle your alcohol, and yourself at parties.

My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 39% on proof

You scored higher than 90% on beer index

You scored higher than 99% on wine index

You scored higher than 86% on liquor index

Friday. 9:30PM. VMC.

It's ugly picking mudderfuchaaaaa!

The day before, people were discussed, picked apart, pulled off. Pros and cons weighed. Debates. Asking the Ugly. Listing names and places. Voting. Finally putting it all together. And we have a decision.

It seems so unbelievable that we accomplished it. Not that I'm implying we are incompetent, but because it seems like such a difficult task. Maybe because it's going to be my senior year, along with three other girls. Maybe I was unsure of the nominees. Maybe I didn't want to let go of JDo. Just like how we didn't want to let go of Squeak. The torch gets passed, and a new year starts.

We have been blessed in the past years, by having the most open minded, sweet, chivalrous, awesome, smart, sexy, thoughtful, involved, and just plain wonderful Uglys. I am just surprised by the immense amount of love and attention we get from these guys, and in turn we shower them with the same amount of deserved worship. They stand for our group, and they dare to think outside the box. They are amazed by us more often than not, and we just keep surprises hidden around every corner.

And we know how to throw one hell of a party...

I'm being all muse-y. I love it. Here's to next year.

Buckingham-i-ly yors.

Mar. 2nd, 2005 @ 11:33 am As a favor to Sharkbait...Hoo ha ha...
Current Mood: frazzled
Current Music: The sounds of Todd Wehr
For Sharkbait, I have decided to update my LJ, since it hasn't happened in quite a while. Things have be a little rocky, but it's nothing I can't handle. Hopefully.

Things to look forward to: Ugly Picking and the musical "Jekyll and Hyde" for which I am doing makeup. It's going to be interesting being gone all next week during the nights and the run of the show. But I hear that it's a good one, so I'm looking forward to seeing it from backstage.

*sigh* Ugly picking. That means we are one step closer to losing a mighty fine Ugly, JDo, who has done nothing but wonderful things for us EC girls. I hope even with his triple major and the Peace Corp, he will be able to still see us, at least for a little while. I guess that I can relate to the yearning for past Uglys... and he will be sorely missed. *sigh* Part of me wishes he could stay, but at the same time, I know it will let us move on and embrace a new man we can whip 'n strip. Thank you, Squeak!

It's about 30 minutes until my next class, African History. We need to write a summary of an article written by P.E.H. Hair (no kidding) and it's just murky and I feel as if I'm drowning in the language. Sometimes I do not know what he's all about, stating one thing and contradicting with another. I think I will mention the flightiness of his monologue in my paper. It's just too much!

I get to see my little guy, Brandon, again today. We are playing a version of Mancala. I do not know how to play this game, and he does. Should be interesting. He beat me in Memory too. But I'm sure if I wanted to win, I could have... but I wanted to give him a chance. It really encourages him to read, and we are reading "James and the Giant Peach" (also something I haven't read), and it should be interesting. Wonder why it was banned in five states? I'm interested to find out too. But Joannie (my prof) really likes Roald Dahl, so I know she doesn't have issues with the book or the author. I'm golden.

I'm ready for the weekend to "party down" as they say.

Party on, dudes.

Dude-ly yours.
